7:34 a.m.-2004-01-28 It's so horrible, but I gotta find something to keep myself motivated. I am NOT counting calories (though I am trying some self control with lunch and what not...no more 1800 calorie lunches at work ;)). Instead, I'm just gonna put some annoying info down at the bottom of my posts...you know, how much I weigh NOW (oh, like you wanted to know THAT), how long I exercized, and oh...I dunno...I'll leave the last little option fieldy thing for own amusement or something. Yeah. That's the ticket. What's really sad is that as a teenager, I went through two really distinct phases...the skinny as hell phase and the 'you look like an apple on two thin sticks' phases. At one point, I weighed more than 350lbs. Yeah. Sick and sad. More impressive is that I lost about 150lbs on my own. No Weight Watchers. No diets. I just decided one day that I was fat, and I was going to do something about it. So I did. I quit smoking that way too...but that's another post some day. I dropped down to 200lbs. I weighed 200lbs even from about 1995 to about 1998...and then I started packin on the weight. I now sit almost 50lbs heavier. It sucks. I'm not very active anymore, and it shows. Bleah. Well... I guess that's enough about me. I have GOT to do something about it. My doctor's on me to lose 50lbs this year...and I guess I'll have a go at it. I suppose this means no more triple decker biggie sized combo meals at Wendy's, eh? Mournfully eyeing the carrot sticks, The Captain
