| 12:40 p.m.-2003-11-17 Well, get this. Cabin-boy forgot to do something very important before he had surgery this morning. He forgot to call his mom and tell her he was even HAVING surgery. Yeah. He's going under the knife, and he didn't bother to tell the woman who brought him into the world about it. Go figure. Anyhow, I'm on pins and needles now. He left home at 12:30p or so to get to the hospital on time. He goes under at 2:45p, give or take a few minutes, and I don't get off work till 5ish. He should be out of recovery by then, but other than that... I dunno. Get well cards can be sent! Drop me a note or an email and I'll give you the address. I won't know what hospital room he's in till later tonight, but hey, if you wanna send flowers, I'll tell you THAT, too. Waiting for the surgeon to call, The Captain
