| 9:19 p.m.-2003-09-08 Right now, the Captain wishes he did NOT have a parrot. I don't care HOW cool an accessory a parrot is, frankly, the little feathered buggers take a hell of a lot of care, attention, and patience. And right now, ear plugs. The featherhead has been screaming all day...one assumes the other half is in far worse shape than myself, but then again, I went from having to listen to the fat cow sing all day, to having to listen to the bird scream all night. Ugh. For those curious, yes, I really /do/ have a parrot (every self respecting pirate needs this nifty living, ear piercing accessory!)...but they are NOT for the faint of heart...or the impatient... And here is a picture of said parrot! This is my bud, the Beast (not his real name), the Ultimate Featherhead, the Greater North American Feathered Butthead, the Grand Screamer...and all around amusing little bilge rat...when he's not screaming. Which he has done all day. Did I mention that? Good.  Because right now, I want to do bodily harm to the feathered demon. You just consider that, if you ever think you want to spend several thousand dollars to get your very own personal scream machine! Headachily yours, The Captain
