| 1:59 p.m.-2003-10-10 So. I signed up for the National Novel Writing Month. Starting November 1st, I have until November 30th to pen a 175 page, 50,000 word novella. Or more. Normally, I am brimming with ideas for stories. Given an actual challenge? I can't think of a gol darned thing. I can't even think of a genre! Bah. As far as 'write what I know'? I'm a giant repository for useless information...I KNOW a lot, but make a good novel it doesn't...so. Anyone got ideas? Good ideas? Bad ideas? Mostly, I'm telling you all this, so I can't just say to myself, 'well, I didn't TELL anyone'...because if I finish the danged thing, I'm actually going to put it up where you can all laugh at it, with me. But I can only do that, if I finish. It's up to you people, gentle readers, to make certain I do finish. How's that for pressure? I knew you could do it. The Captain
