| 10:16 p.m.-2004-01-18 You know, I've lost a whole bloody weekend. Where the HECK did it go? I don't know...but I want it back! We did watch Dogma yesterday, finally. I've seen most of it before, but in bits and pieces on TV at odd hours. It wasn't GREAT, but it was funny...now I can't watch Harry Potter ever again, without thinking about a Ken doll. On the up side, I did laugh my ass off for most of the movie...though I'd like to take an Uzi to Jay and Silent Bob...ugh. I went to school with kids like that...and wound up pranking most of them...ugh. Otherwise, a funny, sinfully amusing movie. Alan Rickman got the best bits, though, by far. In more ways than one. On the upside, I did make an absolutely marvelous gumbo this weekend, with chicken breast, and homemade spicy meatballs, and kielbasa (since the cabin boy doesn't like choriso), and thick sliced bacon and plenty of okra...mmmmmmtasty. I don't think he got a single bite *blush* And I made a whole pot! Sadly, Dogma, and gumbo pretty much WERE my weekend...sorry, not more interesting than that! The Captain
