| 9:14 p.m.-2004-04-21 I'm sitting here on my arse, staring into space. I can't really think of anything witty. And frankly, it was so damn slow at work, they were essentially paying me to stand there and look stupid. We had to take the dog to the vet today...thankfully for the vet, she checked up well. Her bladder infection is pretty much cleared up, her icky ears are looking very much better, and the limp she had seems to have been from a splinter she managed to get rid of on her own. On the downside, Miss B might well have hypothyroidism...severe dander, excessive shedding, extreme lethargy...I've never seen a dog sleep more a day than a cat. But the upside of that is, it's easy to test for, and it's not that expensive to treat. Eh. What else. Not much more to my day than that...other than the fact that we went up to the mega cool grochery store up the road from us, and they finally carry squid snacks...oh joy! Oh rapture! They also carried what I thought were my favorite deep fried baby crabs, but you know. I don't actually READ Japanese very well..turned out they were sweet and sour. Ugh. The dog likes them, though!
