Just so everyone knows, I'm not dead. I still have no computer. Many MANY thanks to the generous people who have donated to the 'get the Captain a new computer fund' (both of you). Your generosity is greatly appreciated. More than you can know.

In other news, the Captain is extremely stressed out right now. His boss is considering selling the business, and the captain knows where that's leading. The unemployment line. The Captain is greatly afeared.

In other news, I start nanowrimo tonight. Wish me luck in my second attempt.

In other news, our dear kitty Tiki Jack has been diagnosed with a heart murmur. It will be $300 or so to get it fully ultrasounded.

All of these things together have conspired to make the Captain a walking heart attack.

Wish me luck, guys. I need it.
