| 11:21 p.m.-2003-09-21 Holy crap. My nerves are jittering more than a caffiene addict after their first coffee in 72 hours. I didn't wanna go out to the movies today, so by 8pm or so, the other half was twitchy...so we went out and got some snacks and rented a movie. We WANTED to rent Final Destination, but it was missing, so we rented Final Destination 2...and wow...that was fun...in a 'watch through your fingers' sort of way. Mind you, I can watch gore galore, slashers make mincemeat of teenybopers, aliens devour hapless maidens...no problem...but show me a scary scene with an elevator or a highway wreck and /I'm/ the wreck. I guess it started when I got hit by a car, and walked away with just some bruises, back in March. Yes. I got hit by a car. Not a little hit, either. I got thrown a good 15 feet, and walked away from it nearly unscathed. Now I'm scared. Did I cheat death? Or did someone look out for my unworthy hide? I guess I won't know till I hit the other side, but man...I see any creepy hand shadows on the ceiling tonight, and I'm outta here! Tying up loose ends, The Captain
