| 11:20 p.m.-2003-10-24 Today, Leota made an escape. We ordered pizza, and when the door opened, the kitten went FLYING out of the apartment door. Right out into the hallway. You know. The long, scary hallway... I don't know what was more embarrassing. Me trying to catch the darned cat, or the ultra cool, what am I doing working this job, pizza guy chasing the half-grown cat up and down the long, scary hallway. After a few minutes, the escapee was captured and returned to captivity, but she's been lurking near the front door of the apartment ever since. I don't know what she thinks she'd FIND out there, but she apparently has decide that our 900 square foot apartment just isn't big enough for her anymore. Anyhow, other than that, not much went on today. I had the day off, and I did jack shit. Sat around and did nada. Zilch. Nothing. Well, except the dishes and the laundry, but I'm not sure that completely counts. It wasn't fun, but at least it was useful. Day Offishly, The Captain
